We cannot go forward to a Republic if the choices are to be initiated by the politicians of the major parties because they have a vested interest in the outcomes. A maximalist citizen movement can generate a much wider range of options and can, initially via the internet, discuss and formulate a strategic plan that will address the question "What kind of a Republic?" in all its ramifications.
